Timothy J. Dunn,
II:
Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1962 with a
B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering. He graduated with a Juris Doctor
degree from Fordham Law School in 1965. He served a clerkship
in the Bergen County Prosecutor's office and was admitted to the
Bar of the State of New Jersey. Tim then went on to serve as a
Captain in the United States Marine Corps, during which he was
a Chief Trial Counsel. After the Marines, Tim became an associate
attorney at the law firm of Lucci and Conway, of Hackensack, until
he founded his own firm in Closter in April of 1970.
Tim is admitted
to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United
States Court of Military Appeals, and the United States Federal
Districts Courts for various districts in New York and New Jersey.
He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York. He is a member
of the Bergen Couty Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association,
and the American Trial Lawyer's Association. He has served on
numerous committees, including the District Ethics Committee.
Tim has also engaged in many community activities, including Scoutmaster,
Little League Coach, and various Boards. He has been published
in the New York Law Journal and has been awarded the prestigious
Silver Beaver award by the Boy Scouts of America.
Tim has extensive
experience in real estate as well as commerical and personal injury
litigation. His background includes extensive practice in real
estate planning, products liability actions, and the contract
activities on clients.
Phillip
M. Dunn:
Phil graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Cum Laude, in
1973 with a Bachelor of Arts in government. He attended Boston
College Law School and graduated in 1976 with a Juris Doctor degree.
Phil was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1976, and the New York
bar in 1981. He clerked for Winne and Dooley and other Bergen
County firms before engaging in private practice in Bergen County.
Phil joined with his brother in Closter to form the present firm
in 1989.
Phil is admitted
to the courts of New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted
to the United States Federal District Courts for New Jersey and
the southern and eastern districts of New York. He is a member
of the Bergen County Bar Association. He is involved in numerous
environmental organizations as well as local church and community
groups. He also serves as public defender for the Borough of Teterboro.
Phil's practice
and experience is broad. He emphasizes real estate and estate
planning. He has significant litigation and commercial background.
